The Conclusion of the Best Week Ever

Thank you so much to National Honors Convocation. I had the best week of my life with some of the best people ever. Jeff Ahlholm, Alex Hedlund, and all my friends, I LOVE YOU GUYS!

Sorry I wasn't able to keep you guys informed while I was away, but that was just how extremely busy we were! So today I am going to take the time to give a full play-by-play of my adventures.

Day 1: The Arrival
There were many complications on Day 1. I was picked as a random security search at the airport, nearly missed my flight, and upon arrival, found out my paperwork hadn't gone through. Pretty much a crappy day. However, it got better as I got to know some new friends, and my coaches Jess, Jeff, and Alex.
Loyola Marymount University
Day 2
Our first day of "lessons" and guest speakers. Awesome. Bobbie Minton and Earl Carroll came in to talk to us about the business of acting, we began working on pre-production for our short films, and spent some time getting to know each other.
"The Hill", where all classes took place

Day 3: Universal Studios
Group picture day! And then we got to talk to Beth and Colin, two screenplay writers. After that, we travelled to Universal Studios! Amazing day. Check the pics.

Day 4
More lessons and the like. Very fun. This day was mostly Alex talking to us, and us joking around with him. (groups 1-2 filmed this day.)

Day 5: Santa Monica Pier/Venice Beach
The pictures say it all. Before we went, we got to screen the movie "Unknown", and then two of the producers came in and talked to us about the making of the movie.
At Venice Beach!

Santa Monica Pier-Recognize the coaster from Tony Hawk's American Wasteland? I sure did!Where we went shopping instead due to the crowds at the Pier

Day 6: My group films+LA Film Festival
Today was filming day. Hopefully I'll get the video up soon that our group made, but it may be a bit. Having some probs with the CD. Here's some pics of filming.
This was also the day of the LA Film Festival. We went to Shorts Program 1, which was actually really interesting. The theater was beautiful.

Day 7
This was editing day. Basically my group spent 16 hours in a room together, watching Brandon and Maddy edit the movie, as we pitched in ideas. This was also the day that we pitched film ideas to Alex. Jeff had spent about 2 hours with me working on mine, and we ended up making what he says "Is so amazing that if you can write a good script, I'd try to do something with it."

Day 8: Graduation and Dance
It was a day of joys and sorrows. Our last official day together, but also the craziest and most fun. Not to mention that after the dance no one got more than 2 hours of sleep. We partied it up. Also, Alex and Jeff kept showing up outside whatever room I was in. So I called them stalkers. But it was awesome, because they are awesome.

Jeff...uh... we still don't know. We looked over at the stage and there was Jeff just... laying there. Posing or something.

Day 9
Final goodbyes. EVERYONE was crying. Also, there was a bomb threat at LAX while I was there. Lovely. But I did finally get home, and I'm still wishing I wasn't.

California Adventures

First, I'd like to give a little message... HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHN MICHAEL BOLGER!!!!!!! Ahh I'm so glad I got to get on a computer today.

So anyways, yesterday I was at Universal Studios in Hollywood, and I was pretty sure there was something going on Public Enemies related. Maybe. I'm not sure. But that would be awesome if suddenly they were "following me"!

As most of you (do not) know, I am currently in California for a film internship/convention thing. It was really last minute that I got to go, and it's really amazing.

I can't say the trip has been uneventful, however...

I was picked for a random security search at the airport that included a full patdown, and they dumped my entire backpack out, causing me to nearly miss my flight. Then, after I got here, it ended up that my papers hadn't cleared. Although everything finally worked out, it was super stressful.

Now, though, it's super amazing. We're making a short film, get to talk to actors and producers daily, and learn all sorts of neat things. Yep. I love L.A. Yesterday we went to Universal Studios, which was awesome, and tomorrow we are going to the Santa Monica pier and Venice Beach. WAHOO! Then on Sunday, we're going to attend the L.A. Film Festival. It's almost overwhelming. I've also made tons and tons of amazing friends. It's kind of like a convention of nerds that aren't really all that nerdy. (There's 5 conventions, with film being the biggest. Law, Medicine, Business, and Leadership are the others.)

I'll be coming home on Wednesday (however much I'm wishing I don't have to) so maybe I'll see some of you then! When I get home, there will be lots of pictures to share!

THIRD WATCH quote of the day:

Cruz: I on the other hand, have to get up every day, by myself, and talk worthless pieces of crap of ledges! Now I'm not going to ask you again. GET UP!

You've already had your fact of the day. It's John Michael Bolger's B-day!

No Johnny Depp quotes today. Instead, a quote from a new friend group about him.
Jenna: Johnny Depp called me last night.
Me: But Johnny was at my house last night!
Liz: What? I don't get it. You were here in California last night... OH! You're JOKING!

Why Does EVERYTHING Cost Money?

Plane tickets are so majorly expensive. Seriously. And they don't go for the "I'm a poor student with an opportunity awaiting me in California" thing, no matter how true it is. Couldn't they at least let us pay a little later?

If you haven't noticed by now, or haven't spent any significant time with me by now, you'll realize my family runs on a last-minute sort of world. Mind you, I'm supposed to be leaving for California TOMORROW. And yet I still don't know if I'm going or not, which means I don't have my ID tag or T-Shirt from this thing, because they don't know if I'm going, either.

Ugh. That's all I can say, and I'm starting to lose hope.

However, I did have a fun weekend, which in turn earned me a little bit of money (even though I was under the impression I was volunteering). My neighbor does a weekend camp every year for some church kids, and I helped out, 48 hours-12 kids-3 camp counselors. And I got to say, I miss those kids... No matter how wild they were, they were still cute and fun.

Also-you may have heard a tidbit about this on the news-the Chilton Morrissey Park Project. I helped out there, too, 9 1/2 hours, building a new playset/park. That was pretty fun, too, but I sprained my shoulder. Ouch.

As for filming, I have a neat little update about myself-ish, and about filming. Sounds like today is going to be the last (or close to last) day of filming. It's a little sad, in my opinion. I'm going to have to find a new obsession...
But also... I still can't believe I even met so many actors and awesome people in the first place, and it ends up that people are actually reading my blog! And... do I dare say... people in high(er) places than what I expected! I just recently sent out 4 CDs of my John Michael Bolger videos, and if you were around at the time when I got the email (Abby, perhaps?) you know how excited I was about that one. And also the fact that I got to pass on a little message to John Michael Bolger. That made me pretty happy, as I am such a Third Watch fanatic.
Although I've been so busy lately, I haven't watched any episodes recently. *sniffle*

As for right now, though, I gotta run, because I need to keep trying to figure out this California thing, or even if I get to go at all.

And I'm really sorry, but I'm skipping the quotes/pictures today. I just don't have any time!

Congrats and Filming Fun!

I'd like to give a shout-out/congrats to a friend... who is going to be an extra in Chicago for Public Enemies!
(Jealous... so. extremely. jealous.)

Filming:
Wrapping up Milwaukee filming tomorrow, any time between 11 pm and 5 am. Perhaps I can convince the parental units to allow me to go after my soccer game?
Heading back to Chicago after that. Only 19 days left to film! :-( It's kind of sad...
Premiere! Date has been MOVED UP to a release of March 10th, 2009! That's now less than a year! I'm so pumped.

As for my friend's surgery, well they opened her up and after looking at her intestines decided that they only wanted to take the appendix. So good in some ways, but now she has a huge scar when it could have been a tiny incision.

That's all for now, because I kind of think I have the flu and feel like crap... slept until after 3 pm today, missed swimming, and don't feel like doing anything, so... I'm going to wrap this up quick (kind of like the film crews! Tee Hee I made a funny)

THIRD WATCH quote of the day:
Bosco: Fat-free half-and-half. Isn’t that just milk?

THIRD WATCH fact of the day:
My brain is on idle. So... Tia Texada was recently on CSI: Miami and The Unit as a guest star. Not much of a fact, but interesting to say the least.

Disappointments and Friends in Need

Turns out that I won't be going to filming. Probably for the best, because we would have been driving through rush hour anyways. The filming is in Milwaukee at the Historical Society today if you'd like to go for me :-)

I only have a minute right now to make a post, because I have to get ready for swim team pretty soon, and since I'm not going to filming I also have soccer and a few other things today. Actually, I'm only up already because I had a wake-up call (literally) about whether or not we were going to filming.

Please pray for my friend, Rachael. She has Crohn's disease and will be undergoing surgery today, so keep her in your thoughts and prayers. It's been pretty tough on her. She's a very close friend of mine, and I'm proud to say she's been really strong through all of this.
Me, Rachel, and Rachael
One more thing... although I am very, ahem, disliking towards NBC, I would like to say that Fear Itself is a great show. Check it out.

OH! Right. This appeared on YouTube. Any fan of Public Enemies/Johnny Depp will enjoy this. A kiss scene!
Also, a clip from in between scenes.
VERY good, and very close up!

THIRD WATCH quote of the day:
Yokas: In the fifth grade I was faster than any other boy in my class. But my teacher said "something must’ve been wrong with the stopwatch." Said "run it again."
Bosco: And?
Yokas: I was so pissed off I ran it faster the second time.

THIRD WATCH fact of the day:
Ed Bernero made an appearance on thefirst season of The Apprentice. During that episode, you are able to see a bit of hustle in the background which consisted of preperations for filming.

THIRD WATCH picture of the day:
Interrogating a prisoner... who, in fact, has radiation poisoning and a large amount of hazardous materials on him at that very moment.

JOHNNY DEPP quote of the day:
You make the bed with your paws, the pajamas you get with your teeth. Because, in fact, being a dog, you haven't any proper digits, have you?
-Finding Neverland

I can't get over how hot he looks, especially with his Public Enemies hair. Although I can't get over how hot he is in general.

Updates and Craziness

Long time, no post! Yes, it was in fact graduation weekend, and thanks to all the wonderful weather, I got stuck in Sheboygan saturday night at my friend's house. Friday night=Christian High Graduation, Saturday=SAT's and multiple grad parties. So now that it's Monday night, I decided that it may just be a good time to do some posting :-)
Right now 30+ counties in Wisconsin are under a state of emergency, including Calumet and Sheboygan, which is where I've been lately. Basically, Calumet and across is the top, all the way down to the bottom. And a possibility of more storms tomorrow, while I stand outside. Maybe we can sneak our way into the actual filming?

Tomorrow is going to be a reunion of The Oshkosh Crew, or at least part of it. However, I really don't want to say where at the moment, because I am very selfish and want Johnny/others to myself. Just kidding. I will say that it is somewhere that has been waiting a VERY long time. If you know anything about Public Enemies, that narrows it down a bit. Side note: This will also be the first time I won't be arriving before 10 am. I have swim team practice from 12-1 pm tomorrow, and I'm skipping soccer (I feel AWFUL about that one) to go :-(

It's going to be a good time, even though my car probably will get stolen or something... does that narrow it down some more?

The question remains-will there be a Johnny Depp? Oh. Right. HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Gawd that man is hot for 45. It's only a 28 year age difference, that chick from Sex and the City has that difference w/ her boyfriend... (Ahhh.... I'd better stop now.)

And Happy Birthday to Jason Isaacs, who is only 2 days older than Johnny Depp. My other love.
You know there's a problem when Captain Hook is sexy...great movie! Peter Pan 2003 version.
We'll get to Alan Rickman, Jason Wiles, and others as we go :-)

That's all I've got for you today really. I want to go watch some Johnny movies and brush up on my knowledge before I go to filming.... and prepare a little better than last time. I don't think I can survive another sunburn like Columbus.

Pictures! Gotta share some filming pictures, since that is the theme today.

Shooters on the roof!

A small bit of crowd from Wednesday, April 16th in Oshkosh.

THIRD WATCH quote of the day:

Prisoner: Well, at least I know how to do some math, b****. There’s a whole bunch of us and one of you.

Cruz: Fine. I’m scared. I’m gonna be over in the corner trembling, b****.
(LOVE this episode! Season 6, Leap of Faith)

THIRD WATCH fact of the day:
Many of the actors on the show were actually married/engaged to each other outside of the show. Molly Price (Yokas) and Derek Kelly (DK) met and got married from Third Watch. Anthony Ruivivar (Carlos) and Yvonne Jung (Levine [seasons 5-6]/adoption agency lady [season 3?]) are also married, and have an adorable son. (I may have said this already. I'm really out of it, very tired)

JOHNNY DEPP quote of the day:
I beg pardon, but why am I the only one who sees that to solve crimes, to detect the guilty, we must use our brains to recognize vital clues using up-to-date scientific techniques.
-Sleepy Hollow

And... a Johnny pic. I don't want to make a section for this, but... he's just so... ;-)
Time to go watch some pirates, with the commentaries by Johnny :-) Need to brush up on my Pirates facts, especially since I went and bought myself a Pirates towel for swim ($7.50 at Wal-Mart!)

Good vs. Evil - The Epic Battle

What happens when you take two amazing actors, of whom I love dearly, and pin them against each other in a historical moment, causing one to die?

Natalie losing her mind thinking about what the scene is going to seem like.

That's right folks, I have just found out today (because I don't know very much about the 1930's) that it is Martin Zarkovich that guns down Dillinger.... In other words.... Johnny Depp vs. John Michael Bolger. YIKES!!!! This is going to be one movie in which you don't really want to be sitting next to me.

So what's up with A&E having Third Watch on only at 6 in the morning? I'm only asking this because my friend, who used to make fun of me for being, ahem, obsessed, is now... OBSESSED! Hahaha I do good work. But the problem being, summer is coming, and no one wants to get up at 6:00 am if they don't have to. Unfortunately, I don't even have A&E, so I don't really have a problem with the time choice!

Speaking of Third Watch... statistics show that the DVD release of Season 1 is proving to be significant enough to release Season 2. When, you ask? Good stinkin' question! Shall we wait 3 more years? Hopefully not.

And a bird just landed on my window screen and freaked me out. Anyways.

Back in the days of Third Watch, there was a certain actor named John Michael Bolger that portrayed the character of Lt. Johnson. Although not a major starring role, he was in many episodes during seasons 2-4. Guest starring alongside Derek Kelly and Bill Walsh, they made a firefighting team. Eddie Cibrian was the bigshot firefighter, but the funny stuff came from the reactions of the other three (at least, in my opinon) to the things that Jimmy did. Such as the mushroom casserole, could this day get any more exciting, and so on. The most intense moment, which is the explosion, and John Michael's second-last episode, is one of the best Third Watch moments... not because it's funny, but because of it's intensity... so here's the clip. (P.S.-John Michael Bolger did his own body-burn in this episode) This is part of the season 4 finale, The Price of Nobility. After watching this clip, you may understand their reasoning for the name of the episode.

If you haven't been watching the news lately, you may not know about California Universal's fire. They had a huge fire that burned through many famous exhibits, along with some rolls of original film of movies. It took over 400 firefighters to put out, and there were several small explosions that occured during the fire. There were problems with low water pressure in the attempt to put out the fire. As of right now, the fire allegedly seems to be caused by roofers using a blow torch. Here's an article about the fire. http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5ieKlEB60J43hDZ39AB9VmsPZ72sgD912HMK00

A little note to Universal, I hope everything goes alright with the clean-up and rebuild of the studios. That really is a terrible loss, especially with the trademarks such as King Kong, Back to the Future, the New York set, and Miami Vice. I was almost crying when I heard about it, because Universal is very close to me (with Public Enemies, and also that I would love to work for them one day), and my friends and I are keeping you guys in our prayers!

One little Johnny Depp fact to finish the day off. For those of you who, like me, lack things such as cable or dish, and have only 10 channels, the MTV movie awards took place as scheduled at Universal in California, and Johnny Depp took home best comedic performance and best villan. YEAH!

THIRD WATCH quote of the day:
Bosco: With your head the echo must be deafening.

THIRD WATCH fact of the day:

Not one season of Third Watch passed without NBC threatening to not renew the show... That was one of the reasons for the extremely intense cliffhangers after each season finale. One had originally been planned for season 6, but after a short notice of cancellation, a complete script rewrite had to be done.

And yes, Becky-Rachel-Terri, I am still doing these quotes/facts by heart.

THIRD WATCH picture of the day:

Crossover episode with Medical Investigation (a failed attempt to save a failing show-meaning M.I.)

JOHNNY DEPP quote of the day:
I can't see, f***mook, I have no eyes. -Once Upon a Time in Mexico

I can't help but give another Johnny Depp picture... especially one from the MTV awards! Any bets on how many millions of people were confused by his new haircut?

I've seen videos of Severus Snape/Hans/etc. (Alan Rickman), Bosco (Jason Wiles), Lucius Malfoy/Tavington/etc. (Jason Isaacs).... on youtube with the song... "I'm to sexy..." you know the one. Johnny totally fits that song. I'm sorry. But he does.

And yet I do not consider myself a crazy fan girl. Hmm..... Okay, fine. I'm a fan girl, and I'm slightly crazy, but I'm not a crazy fan girl. Does that make sense?

School's almost out, and filming's almost done

It's getting close to that time of year! Thursday is in fact my last day of school, which is very exciting for me... because that means next year I'm a senior! Finally...
All that's left is my Physics presentation on Monday, a Psychology exam on Tuesday, and two other useless days of school.
And then for my busy June of soccer games, community service project, soccer camp, and either Country USA or California film internship! (So sad that they're up against each other... but I really want that scholarship!)
With all that said and done, what does that leave for today? Possibly a story about filming? Why not! That's what this blog is all about anyways.
According to Rod's blog, (I love your blog, by the way, if you ever read this!) Michael Mann was spotted in Columbus... soooooo.... make your own theories!
Today's story will be... The Definition of Base Camp!
There seems to be some sort of confusion amongst my friends when I talk about filming and continuously refer to base camp. They give me funny looks, as if I went climbing on Everest and forgot to tell them or something.
Base Camp: The location at which the cast and crew keep everything, get makeup/hair done, the trailers are located here, as well as trucks and equipment. Also the best location to see behind-the-scenes hustle.
I hope that clears some stuff up. Now, I will include some of my favorite photos from base camp in Oshkosh and Columbus. These bring back some memories, I tell ya.
You may notice a hand reaching over the fence. That would in fact be Johnny Depp's hand. The joys of base camp revealed. (Oshkosh)
A conference of the police officers. It's time to prep for Johnny to do a meet and greet. One of the signs to look for if you're getting cold and weary from a 15 hour day. (Oshkosh)
Loading the Johnny-mobile. A look at base camp in Columbus.

A little story about Third Watch. Actually, this is more of some personal theories that I've had in the past about two certain characters and their relationships.
Cruz and Yokas. The archenemies of Third Watch. Or were they? I have just achieved rewatching season 4, and I noticed a few interesting little things. Firestarter-Cruz's first actual big role (unlike her 1 min. 9 sec. role in The Chosen Few), Yokas and her talked like normal humans to each other, only making a few comments here and there that weren't really meaningful. In fact, it almost seemed as if Yokas would join Anti-Crime along with Bosco. But then a few episodes later, Yokas had gone through some sort of switch, getting all suspicious of Bosco and Cruz breaking the rules (even though they were, not the point!). From that point on, Yokas hated Cruz because she "changed" Bosco. My quote today will in fact be about this little hatred, because it's kind of funny...
But what could have happened? The four-way shootout, in which Yokas SHOT FIRST, mind you. Yes, Cruz was threatening Yokas, but would she have actually pulled the trigger if Yokas hadn't shot? Family Ties part 2, Yokas saves Cruz's life. Or after More Monsters, could they have potentially have been friends, or at least not hating each other? Don't forget about Mikey being killed, which started the whole Donald Mann ordeal, Cruz and Yokas were both trying to help Bosco... together? Last, but certainly not least, Cruz went to jail to protect Yokas. I think it could have happened. I bet if Third Watch would have stayed on another season, something... Not exactly a friendship, but maybe at least a truce. Just my little ideas about stuff... I even had crazy ideas between seasons 5-6 that Cruz/Yokas would rule NYC together... but I'm about as crazy as my theories so, yep.
Not to mention the fact that Cruz always loved Bosco... my theory there...

THIRD WATCH quote of the day:
Yokas: Nobody should say anything about your little Anti-Crime girlfriend! Oh, my God.
Bosco: What? What?
Yokas: Oh, my God. She’s the girlfriend.
Bosco: No.
Yokas: You’re lying.
Bosco: I wouldn’t lie.
Yokas: You already lied.
(Sorry, really long, but REALLY funny)

THIRD WATCH fact of the day:
(I learned this one from John Michael Bolger himself) John Michael (Lt. Johnson) did his own body-burn scene, no stunt double, in The Price of Nobility.

THIRD WATCH picture of the day:

Cruz and a terrorist unit detective... fighting crime on a higher level. I think she might have been falling for this guy, too...

JOHNNY DEPP quote of the day:
I don't respond well to intimidation. Makes me feel icky.
-Secret Window

And how about a picture of Johnny!

Sorry it's been a day... nearly two. Been super busy applying for scholarships and studying for exams/working on school projects. Hopefully I can keep posting... tomorrow (or the next time I post) I'll be doing a little bit of Third Watch advertising with a full-scale review of John Michael Bolger on Third Watch! Also a little bit on Johnny Depp's biography I've been reading.

No Time to Rewind

Ah... my life has become so busy now that filming has left the state! It's quite unfortunate actually, since I haven't had any time to give some real stories.
Worst part is, you'll have to wait at least one more day for anything interesting from me.
Last night, as I was frantically studying for my Physics exam (which I am FINALLY done with) I got a phone call from my soccer club. It was a "Sorry about the late notice, but we have our first practice tomorrow." And of course I said "Oh yeah, I'll be there!" I'm so pumped to start on my club team, since my stupid school doesn't have a team, but today just happened to be one of my busiest days, and practice is right smack in the middle of it (6:00-7:30) not to mention that it is in Kiel, so I have to drive a half hour to get there.

The little bit of information that I have is this: NOTHING. No movement anywhere. As far as I know, Chicago filming is slowed down, too. So just some more waiting.

Also, a little news that you might hear about later... It was a huge deal today since it had to do with my school...
Chilton High School: Allegedly, a special education gym teacher hit a student in the face, and the school board is attempting to cover it up, even though multiple students are coming forward and telling the board that they saw the incident. No real word on if it's actually true from me. Since there is no one attempting to even investigate it though, a large group of students (not me) participated in a walk-out. Over 30 students were issued truency fines, and over 60 have detentions. 3 squad cars were seen at the school today trying to convince students to return to their classes.

It was more fun watching it from inside, do I dare say... since I was one of the 50 some students lined up by the doors watching the officers issue ticket after ticket during my lunch.

Well I gotta get going, since I have to leave for practice in a little over a half hour.

THIRD WATCH quote of the day:
Carlos: This is a righteous ride, man.
Bosco: "Righteous"?
Carlos: Yeah, what year is it?
Bosco: The car or that word?

THIRD WATCH fact of the day:
Kim Raver and Bobby Cannavale had worked together before in previous shows produced by Ed Bernero and John Wells. They were two of the first people cast, and were actually very influential in the rest of the casting choices for season 1.

THIRD WATCH picture of the day:

Psychology Made Easy! Just watch Third Watch

I took a break from studying last night to watch a little bit of Third Watch. Right now in Psychology, we're spending a unit learning about the symptoms and such of schizophrenia. Well I just happened to remember that Letting Go, season 4, is about a woman who has schizophrenia and is off her meds. So I went right ahead and watched it. Studying made easy! And I now understand the materials a little better.

We're also learning about the side effects of drug/alcohol abuse, and the next episode in the season, Last Call, just so happens to be about Sully detoxing from alcoholism. The irony!

According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinal, antique cars in Milwaukee are being prepped for filming, and another casting call has been made for Chicago. Done. Set. Something. And to think I want to be a producer, and don't know proper terminology?! Anyways, my dad is applying for it! :-)

They're looking for males 18 and older with "character" faces. Which means scars and broken noses and such.
http://chicago.craigslist.org/sox/tlg/697698927.html
http://www.joanphilocasting.com/
These are the sites for entering your information if you'd like to try and get a part. However, if you read the first link, they're due in by today. So get on that!

It seems as if my blogs get shorter and shorter every day, but that's only because part 2 of my Physics exam is tomorrow, and I don't think I did so hot today... but I'll have some interesting things to say in the next few days!

A little picture to remember filming by... Because we all miss it so much...

The excitement of a meet and greet! Wow I miss those days in Oshkosh

THIRD WATCH quote of the day:

Bosco: I thought you said you'd piss people off.
Cruz: I like pissing people off.

THIRD WATCH fact of the day:

Skipp Sudduth (Sully) is also a director. You can see some of his work in Collateral Damage Part 2, Season 4, of which he directed. They were able to get him out of the episode with one single line...
Swerskey: Davis, is Sullivan really sick?
Gotta love Third Watch.

THIRD WATCH picture of the day:
More Monsters. Cruz finds a cell phone-activated bomb during a raid. After this episode I made my dad change his ringtone... and I still flinch a little when I hear it.

JOHNNY DEPP quote of the day:

Sweeney: What is this?
Lovett: What is this?
Sweeney: Smells like piss.
Lovett: Smells like ew!
-Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

(I think I had a theme of piss today. And that was completely by mistake.)

A Reunion of Sorts, to Await a Reunion

Funny story. I got a call from my buddy Michelle from Oshkosh today, and it sounds like we'll be taking a weekend trip...
The funny part is, it's going to be our first non-filming excursion! :-)
It's really crazy how these sorts of things work. Friendships, I mean. I've spent over 6 months at my new school, and I've made more friends at Public Enemies filming than at Chill-town!

Anyways. A little news on P.E. that I came across this morning. According to 103.7 KissFM (Milwaukee), there is some sort of filming tentatively occuring at the Historical Society tomorrow. Along with the Chicago filming that is going on all week. But NO JOHNNY. Hate to break it to KissFM, but it's Lily's birthday today. Johnny's taking some time off. Sorry, Ally, you won't be seeing him! (As in Wes, Rahnny, and Ally)
Did I ever mention that she is another "celebrity" of sorts that I have met? She's awesome.

A little update on how I spent my weekend. 4 discs of Third Watch episodes (that equals 16 episodes) makes me disappointed in myself. I've watched 8-9 episodes in one day before... but then again, that was back when I was a pathetic little nerdy 7th grader and had nothing better to do. Along with my Third Watching, I went to Claire's and took advantage of their 10 for $10 sale... meaning I bought everything Pirates of the Caribbean that they had. Also stopped by Hot Topic and purchased my 3rd Sweeney Todd shirt, and a Harry Potter hoodie ($10 on sale!)

My obsessiveness just doesn't ever end, does it?

Sorry I don't have much to talk about today... but I need to get working on studying for finals and such. Physics, Psychology... you know the drill. But that means, a week and 2 days from now, I am FREE of school! Which means I get to go Johnny-Watching! Although I should start calling it John Michael-Watching, because that's a lot more fun anyways :-)

Also, wish me luck in applying for a scholarship to an 8-day internship at Universal Studios/Loyola Marymount University in California. If I get it, I'll be on my way to my film career!

THIRD WATCH quote of the day:

Jimmy: Leiu, you like my mushroom meatloaf, right
Lt. Johnson: No.

(It's much funnier in the actual episode) Season 4-Letting Go

THIRD WATCH fact of the day:

In New Zealand (and probably other countries as well) Third Watch is called New York 911.

THIRD WATCH picture of the day:

Nia Long (Sasha Monroe) and Tia Texada (Maritza Cruz) in A Call for Help, Third Watch's 100th episode
NBC promotional picture. I'd credit the website, which used to be my favorite site, but NBC just happened to get rid of it about 2 weeks after Third Watch was cancelled

JOHNNY DEPP quote of the day:

Young boys should never be sent to bed. They always wake up a day older... and then, before you know it, they've grown.
