Where to begin this story? It's very good, and I'm very proud of it. I guess we can start in Oshkosh, where I spent a small amount of time. (Does 40+ hours at base camp count as small?) Anyways, I got to know Matt, a security guard, and one day asked him if John Michael Bolger was there. Unfortunately, he was not in Oshkosh, and I was a little disappointed. I later went on to find out that John Michael was in Madison, where I was not.
For those of you unfamiliar with John Michael Bolger, he played a recurring role of Lt. Johnson of th FDNY on Third Watch.
So continuing on, I went to a day of filming in Columbus. And Matt was once again working, and asked me if I still wanted to meet John Michael. I of course replied, "Um, Yeah!" About 20 minutes later, out walks Matt, standing next to the one, the only, JOHN MICHAEL BOLGER. John proceeds to ask, "So why do you want to meet me?"
And I go into shock momentarily.
John Michael Bolger and his #1 Fan... Me! :-)
Well, eventually we got to talking about Third Watch, filming, fans, machettes, the evils of technology, and many other random topics, and John Michael seemed to have spent about as much time out there by the fans as we did! Good times.
John Michael Bolger doing one of many meet and greets.
It's so great to have actors like John Michael Bolger come out and say stuff like that. I mean, truth be told, he isn't nearly as famous as Johnny Depp, but the fact that he spent so much time with the fans is really what truly makes him great. And the fact that he was on Third Watch.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank all the actors and extras and crew that do talk to the fans. Because after I finish this normal section, I am finally going to do a rant that I have been wanting to do ALL DAY LONG after reading the IMDB boards.
Special thanks to John Michael Bolger, Emilie de Ravin, Stephen Dorff, Chris Stolte, and last, but certainly not least, Johnny Depp. I love you all, and the meet and greets are amazing. I'm so glad I got to meet you all, some multiple times. :-) You guys ROCK!
Also thanks to Matt, Tyler, Jerry, Corey, Eric, Stroptch, and all the other crew members that were so awesome and kept us company all day long.
About my facts of the day (even though this is only the second day)...
I used to do "facts of the day" to my friends all the time about things like Third Watch, Harry Potter, and random actors (that they usually never heard of.) So one of my friends asked me today if, on this blog, I research my facts of the day and get them off other sites, or if I pull them all out of my noggin.
I pull all Third Watch information out of my noggin. 4+ years of obsessing about the show, you learn a lot.
Johnny Depp quotes right now are out of my head, but will eventually be coming from http://www.deppimpact.com/
Now, I'm going to put the facts and quotes prior to my rant, because I don't want it to ruin them.
THIRD WATCH quote of the day:
Carlos: He hit me! On my good side!
Cruz: You have a good side?
THIRD WATCH fact of the day:
The show's 100th episode, "A Call for Help," was based on a real-life crime that occured in Chicago when Ed Bernero was a cop there.
JOHNNY DEPP quote of the day:
F***ing bells!
-Once Upon a Time in Mexico

The Section of Ranting.
A one time special, due to my annoyance at rude people on IMDB.
I'm not going to waste my time posting on IMDB, basically because whatever you say, the people on the Public Enemies board find a way to rip your comments apart without even taking a second to read them. So here goes nothing, where I can really express myself.
The "fan dilemma" as I am going to call it.
Certainly, there are crazy fans that scream crazy things, and don't know when to just behave like a human being. But is it really ALL THE FANS?
I think not.
And I hate to break it to all these crabby people, but if we are truly causing a disturbance standing along the barriers, why has nothing ever been said while we are actually there? It's all second-hand pissiness. (is that a word?)
I personally do have a problem with screaming at Johnny Depp, all the crying and freaking out. He is only a person, and he is trying to do a job. But I see nothing wrong with fans that know when to take a step back and tell those around them to shut up being able to enjoy the experience. There are many fans that stand peacefully and get along with those who are working. I've made some pretty good friends with a few of the crew, actually, so it's not like we're complete a-holes.
So here's my stand on the fan matter-If you personally cannot control your emotions and screaming, then yes, please stay home. But those of us that behave and are there to enjoy the experience (not just Johnny, mind you. Some of us are there to literally study and decide on a future career-ME, for example) KEEP GOING TO FILMING. Because what I've heard about the 'good' fans is always good comments, and if you don't believe me...
WATCH THE VIDEO OF JOHN MICHAEL BOLGER SAYING SO.
And if you still don't believe me, I have over a half hour of video footage of John Michael talking and complimenting us and saying how great it is that we come out and support them that I can show you.

Alright. I'm done ranting, and I got that out of me, so I feel better now. But now I have to do some Psychology homework, a Physics final project, and then go to an awards night for my school (the joys of being a National Honor Society member and top 10 in your class :-/ Go to this stuff all the time)
Keep reading! And B.T.W.-there will not be another rant for a very long time :-)
Next time: Oshkosh Behind-the-Scenes experiences!
