Princes, Thunderstorms, and Third Watch

Good ratings from me about the new Narnia movie. Prince Caspian rules. I think that it really lives up to the book, and is action packed. I recommend that you go see it.

Today was an interesting day for weather in Wisconsin, that's for sure. It started out cool, then got hot and humid, then stormed like crazy. And sounds like it is going to continue for a while. Looks like Fond du Lac took a pretty good hit from where I live... Oshkosh, too, possibly? Storms went around us, though. Luckily.

I recently (as in... today) watched a group of Third Watch episodes. A disc and a half actually. And these were some of my favorite episodes... and one includes John Michael Bolger! So here's the scoop...

Crash and Burn. Season 4, episode 4.
Extremely exciting. A huge car accident occurs, and Jimmy (Eddie Cibrian) is involved. While the firefighters and paramedics are working on the accident, Alex (Amy Carlson) gets hit by a car, and the guy runs. And that's only a short summary... because there's lots about Sully (Skipp Sudduth) and his problems with his wife being ex-Russian mob. John Michael Bolger is in this one, obviously as Lt. Johnson, and he does a great job! (As always) :-)

Crime and Punishment Part 1. Season 4, episode 9.
This episode wins the Third Watch best music composition award from me. I watch this episode over and over, sometimes just for the music. Including songs such as Say Now, by Nelly, Straight Outa Compton by NWA, and 54321 Boom by Public Enemy (how ironic! Public Enemy... Public Enemies... anyways...) it really grabs the mood of the episode: Fast Paced, Action-Packed gang-busting amazingness. One of the first Bosco/Cruz matchups (Yep. I'm a shipper for those two.) Part 2 is equally as exciting, but not as much music.
I'm not really a rap person, but after this episode I loved these songs because they remind me of the episode. See? Third Watch helped the music industry!

Well, I haven't heard a whole lot about filming in Chicago, but I've seen some pretty sweet pictures on different sites of the Biograph theater, and things look AMAZING. There's a couple pictures floating around (check imdb.com boards) of rehearsals and stand-ins doing the death scenes. Check it out. The link to the Public Enemies imdb site is in the right-hand links portion of the blog.

My Third Watch obsession... it's time for the truth to come out. How completely obsessive do you have to be for your friends to call you obsessive? Well, finally one friend got the idea to try and figure that out... she says, "Take some pictures of your room!" So I did. And I will even kindly label some of the points of interest.
Sorry the points are hard to read... they're either pointing out things that are Third Watch, things that are Harry Potter, or things that are Johnny Depp...

THIRD WATCH quote of the day:
(A Lt. Johnson one today!!!)

Lt. Johnson: All right, let’s go. Maybe it’s a real one this time.
Walsh: Yeah, and J-Lo cooked me breakfast this morning.

THIRD WATCH fact of the day:

Cruz and Yokas were extreme enemies on the show. The actors that portray them, however have something very close in common.
Tia Texada's (Cruz) birthday is on December 14.
Molly Price's (Yokas) birthday is on December 15.
Not exactly an exciting fact, but I always thought it was kind of cool.

THIRD WATCH picture of the day:

Annual charity softball event that the cast and crew took part in. (Does anyone know if they still do this?)-Jason Wiles and Coby Bell

JOHNNY DEPP quote of the day:

Once again, you really shouldn't mumble, 'cause it's kinda startin' to bum me out.
-Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
